Amy Seidman

team_amy_iMultimedia artist Amy Seidman has been working for over 20 years with non-profits, museums, as well as government and private entities to develop media products in support of deep ecology, environmental education and inspiration toward sustainable solutions. Historically, Amy has developed photo essays, education programs, documentaries, and numerous other media projects such as interactive exhibitions, visual music, environmental art, and written articles.

Ms. Seidman’s background, includes being a professional photographer whose work has appeared in books, and magazines such as Time, Newsweek, Rolling Stone and Outdoor photography. Her written article and photo essay on Irish Travelers was reprinted in Sociology magazine as the authoritive work on the subject. She has photographed endangered species for Natural History Magazine and provided National Park Service Interpretation with historically valuable photos documenting the restoration of Haleakala National Park. Awards for her work include Nikon IPC and the UN/World Health Organization, and Amy participates in professional groups in various areas of her work and offers relationship tie-ins with appropriate community and non-profit groups for each program. Her body of accomplishments include founding digital media companies Incredible Places and Creative Entity. During her diverse career, she has designed and produced multimedia for large entertainment studios such as Disney, MGM, Fox, Intertainer and Warner Brothers, as well as corporations such as Lotus, Pac Bell, and Sun Microsystems. In addition to traditional channels such as Broadcast and print, her work is distributed through convergence media platforms such as Harmony Channel on Comcast's Video On Demand and iTunes music downloads.
